WCTA monthly meeting Thur March 29, 2012

The Wake County Taxpayers Association's monthly meeting will be held  Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Barbeque Lodge , beginning at 6:30 PM. The Barbeque Lodge is located in Minicity, 4600 Capital Blvd. Raleigh, NC 27604.

To eat (order from menu, Dutch style), please be there by 5:30pm to allow time so that our program can begin promptly at 6:30pm.

WCTA meetings are one of the best places to get first hand information on TAX issues and to meet and talk with some of our elected officials.  Please get informed and GET INVOLVED.

Program:

Our Special Speaker for the Taxpayers Association's meeting next Thursday (March 29) is Dr. Michael Sanera, Director of Research and Local Government Studies with the John Locke Foundation. Dr. Sanera is an excellent speaker.  He will be covering the evils of Agenda 21,   AND will also give his excellent illustrated summary of what is dead wrong with Light Rail and Commuter Rail.  I have heard him  on these subjects, and his presentation is very informative and very important for us to be aware.

Please call the WCTA members and friends that you know and urge them to attend.  Lets plan on having a large crowd for his presentation.  Our attendance has been off for the last three meetings. WE MUST
DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO BUILD ATTENDANCE again !!    PLEASE PLAN ON BEING THERE Thursday night !!!!!
